Specs: Windows XP
I am planning on building a new computer, does the on board memory of the BFG Tech BFGEGTX260896OCE GeForce GTX 260 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card have any impact on XP's 4 gig max ram. Hoping for a better 64 bit os in the near future.

Nope, it doesn't. And Vista and Win 7 are both here and work very well as x64.

"does the on board memory of the BFG......Video Card have any impact on XP's 4 gig max ram"

The way you asked the question, the answer is no - the 4GB max is the 4GB max.

What I believe you meant to ask is, will the video memory impact the amount of the 4GB max that's actually recognized by WinXP? - Yep.
