I have a laptop which contain pentium mmx 266 MHZ with 64 mb of ram and windows xp. my computer is very old it works since 1989. it is still working good but not so speedy. but its a great experiance that i have one of the old computer with windows xp what could i do to increase the speed Mayank patel india

Install more memory. 64Mbs is the absolute minimum for Windows XP. 512 Mbs would be more appropriate.

It may be from '99, but we weren't even beyond 486's in '89.
Nonetheless, you also could try a reinstall using nLite to cut the junk out of XP (but as StuartS said, you need more RAM). Little else you could do on such an old machine...
