Windows XP None of the USB Devices work

After installing windows XP Professional I found that none of mine USB devices are working.
I installed latest driver (eg for Logitech USB mouse etc.) but no use. In device manager I see USB Controller
Driver Provider: Unknown
Driver Date: Not available
Driver version: Not available
etc.
Where do I get driver for USB controller?

check the BIOS, is USB enabled?

try uninstalling the USB controller and restarting
