Windows xp net framework update

Hi everyone....
In windows xp home the gold sheild in the taskbar shows that update is available. The update in for the net framework 3.5 update. I click on OK to download but so far ( about a week now) there is no downloading of this update.

You probably all ready have the update installed and it is not reading the file correctly. Check the add/remove for the update and then go to windows update and when it comes up to install the update click the " + " signe and check the box to not show this update again! that will solve the issue for you!
