Windows XP login Problem

Well ok, lets give this a shot...

I don't Exactly know what i've done wrong but i'd be glad if I could get it fixed

I dont know if it matters but I have a HP 2510p Compaq Notebook PC.

Heres the problem, I found an old client to a small morpg that when I clicked on it, it said loading. I noticed that my files were all starting to have a blank odd file image so I held power and turned it off.

Now when I turn it on, windows xp runs and the login screen will appear. The backrounds black for some reason. -.-

Anyways when I try to log in it will show a desktop backround that I made myself (meaning hopefully the datas intact)

and then it will log me out immediatley, and take me back to the login screen. It repeats.

I really don't know what I did but I hope its not fatal. Please help me out.
