Windows XPSP2 keeps logging me off on startup. My computer is partitioned to have a recovery on the D drive and I do not have a windows XP disc because it was paritioned. Well I have researched why its doing this and I have taken all the steps of trying to copy the init.exe to wsup.exe file, and also have done several other steps. I still am not able to login without it automatically logging me out. So at this point I decided I wanted to do a system recovery but when I go to startup my computer, it says in order to do a system recovery I have to hit F10. I hit F10 and nothing happens. So at this point I was wondering if anybody knew if I could either
a} Fix the computer from logging off everytime I log into it. Aside from other popular answers to fixing this problem
OR
b} If someone knew if there is any way to do a full system recovery from my D drive if I cannot get into it by hitting F10. I have tried doing it thru the system recovery console but I cannot seem to figure out these commands.
I would greatly appreciate anybodys help for this and if there is any additional information required to help me, I will glady include it if asked.
I will check back here in a few hours.

I will check back here in a few hours.
Likewise I will think about this sometimes in the next few hours.

LOL @ XpUser
Sometimes when you do a system recovery it takes an exceptionally long time to actually see any difference on the screen....check to see if the harddrive LED light on the front panel of your computer has any activity after pressing F10...if it is blinking or steady on then there is files being moved around and you just need to be a bit more patient. Especially with only 512 MB of memory.

Could this help ?
