My normal log-on/log-off screen is the standard Windows XP "Welcome" screen, with all the users and icons. But since this morning it has changed to the classic style (Windows 95/98) of making you type in the name and password. I've gone into my control panel and account settings and set it to the correct setting for the "welcome" screen (fast user switching and welcome screen) but it doesn't work. Everytime it takes me to the "classic" log in. How do I fix it?

have you tried restarting your computer, sometimes it needs a restart for the changes to take place.

Well that's just common sense, of course.
