Hi hoping you can help me with a small problem. When using the classic log on screen it displays so many email messages as being unread. When you highlight this it shows the email accounts this relates to. How can this be cleared? I thought it would be under user accounts, then manage network passwords. When i go there though the email id's are not shown.

Any suggestions??

If you're comfortable with editing the registry, try this.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\UnreadMail\<email address> subkey.

Double-click Message Count, set the value to 0, then click OK.
