I need to find out if and where I can download Oa full version of Office XP or if I have to buy the package

I don't think you can download it. You may be eligible for an upgrade depending on what you already have. See www.microsoft.com for all this info.

Well, I did a pretty complete search of MS, and couldn't find a way to download it. M, if you can tell me where in the MS site it is, I'd be interested in knowing. I even went to the extent of ordering it, checking out (without actually ordering it), etc. But there was never a download option. Thanks.

There is a program named "Easy Office 2001" which offers most of MS Office, is compatable with MS Word and is free. You might want to try it.
