Hi,
I have a DELL pc which i bought a few months back with Windows XP home edition English version pre-installed. Ive been trying to install windows XP Professional Korean Edition. I was not able to update the current version of the XP due to the language difference and hence had to go for a new installation. Once i started the new installation a blue screen appears with and STOP error message.
Check for viruses on you computer. Remove any newly installed hard drive or hard drive controllers. Check your hard disk to make sure it is properly configured and terminated. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard rive corruption, and then restart your computer.
STOP 0X0000007B (0XF7A89524, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)
Every time i try installing windows xp, the same error message comes up.
Any help is appreaciated.
Thanks
Regards
Irisirizz

WoW! Microsoft Support have a Support Article:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/324103
Also Googling is good:

get your windows 2000 CD or XP CD and open the recovery console and run CHKDSK that should look for any problems with your HD (worked for me) hope you get it fixed
