I am trying to install windows xp home edition on my laptop, it has formatted and everything...and goes to the install screen then when it gets to 37 minutes left INVALID_WORK_QUEUE, It just says it found a problem but not what it was related to. I can't figure it out, if you think you can help but need more info please ask for it. Thanks.

Just happens I have the z80k and the retailer I bought it from now says it will only use a retail windows disk...Not the OEM one Iv used on all my other systems. It's slightly annoying.

I may be missing something but why would the Retail version install and not the OEM, seems a little odd in that the only difference is one comes in a box and the other in shrink wrap, i could see one maybe having problems activating the OEM but i have never been refused, unless he is talking about A factory restore CD??

Basically what I found out about this laptop is...it is the pickiest darn thing, it wont use OEM versions of windows or x64. It only takes retail windows, with the OEM version it gives a very specific error...also it's because my version is made by gateway. It is not a restore cd, just a no frills windows xp. I just found it weird that it wouldn't install considering I installed it on 3 non-gateway systems.
