My laptop wont load its stuck on windows login page, i click log in and it logs me back out. i downloaded a program from norton that cleans the computer and i can stop things from starting when the computer starts up so i checked some things, and now its stuck and i dont have a xp cd or recovery disk , and cant get computer to start in dos.

tried safe mode and it boots but still stuck on windows log in screen, this is sucking big time.

Did you happen to read the instructions for the Norton app you used? There's usually a way to undo the changes. You might let us know exactly what you downloaded.
