I did some upgrades for this friend of mine. I added some memory and a video card. Windows reconized it and everything was alright. Then she wanted me to format her hard drive so I did. I booted from the windows xp pro cd, deleted the partition and created a new one. Then it installed windows and rebooted itself. Ok, here where the problem starts. It starts up and when the windows logo show up and it starts to boot it freezes up. I never had this problem when I format my hard drive on my computer. I installed window over again and the same thing happens over again. Can anybody help me!?

Maybe- Boot into Windows Safe-Mode, then set video drivers to something that Normal Windows can handle. Then reboot into normal Windows. Then change video drivers to the ones for the card.

It is most likely the memory at fault or the video card at fault if it is a hardware problem.
