Hi i have 3 hard drives C: D: and E: win xp is installed on C: is it easy to format drive C: and reinstall win xp on that drive without touching D: and E:?? is win xp easy to reinstall and format??

yeah, if you boot from the CD, you can remove partition C and start over without it affecting the other drives. if you need detailed instructions, post again, or email me

if you not usin any other operating systems make sure you use ntfs is much beter

Do you have 3 harddrives or 3 partitions on one harddrive?
You can repair xp by: System Restore Repair from CD Format C: and reinstall XP
If you have 3 partitions on 1 HD.. 1. you won't be able to format C: from Windows...you need to insert the xp cd and select format when prompted 2. If you remove one partiion you will lose data on others unless you use Partition Magic or some other such program. 3. If you install a program on D: drive (for example) and you reformat c: You won't be able to access the program you previously installed on c:
