XP's fax program won't send my faxes. I don't get an error message; in fact, the fax won't even try to dial. After searching, I discovered that the fax console's "fax printer status" showed "connection error". Please help!

I also have this problem. It wont do nothing, even when I wait for hours it just says pending. I wonder if it is my net connection which is a dsl network. I upgraded from win 98 to XP home. On 98 I had quicklink 3 that ran out of paperport 6.0 deluxe, and v.90 k56flex data/fax internal modem, and only used it on a dialup connection when I upgraded to xp it automaticlly changed to the fax console. The dsl network runs on an external Lucent CellPipe modem. any ideas
