Comment: Ok heres the deal. I have a computer that is being a PEST!! At fist, everything seemed fine. I had windows 98 SE running OK, but i could not get the full potential out of the computer because of an outdated OS. So, i upgraded to windows XP Pro. It installed fine and all, and life was good. After a few ours of computer use i got a windows protection error (Noooooo!!!!!). Ok, i found out that it was caused by me running an old IDE cable on the harddrive on DMA mode unstead of PIO mode. So now more protection error. THEN! i got the error on boot "file NTFS.sys could not be loaded. Missing or corrupt ect..." So i reformated the harddrive. Now when i try to install windows XP, it begins the setup, than stops with the following error: File setupdd.sys could not be loaded. The error code is 7 Setup can not continue. Press any key to exit. Thank you for taking the time to read this. PLEAAASE SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!! Thanks for your time. ~Tyler~
