Windows XP Dual Network Cards

Specs: Windows XP
I have two networks running in my office and want to use a single PC to administer them both in the following manner: network -------------------- PC ---------------------------- network

My PC has 2 NICs and my primary network is on but I have firewalls with management interfaces on

What I want to do is set my computer to use NIC1 for all traffic and NIC 2 for all traffic

I've tried using the command route -p add mask metric 1 if NIC1 but Windows won't accept this as the whole subnet of is more generic than the IP on my NIC and therefore not on the same LAN so Windows won't add the route.

Has anyone else done this in the past?

You can only use one gateway. Remove the gateway from the nic not going to the internet.
