Reply: (edit)If xp couldent do the drivers for it, they must be pretty rare, any driver that works with windows 98/ME will work with XP, go to your manufactures website for drivers. if that doesnt work email me

Reply: (edit)Whoever said that all drivers that work with 98/ME work with XP is fulla s---. Not all... maybe some, but not close to all. 2000 is more compatible driverwise with XP than the others... I have a C-Media 8738 sound card, that no driver worked, except windows2000.

Reply: (edit)I have been using Windows XP RC1 recently and Ive found a problem. I cant use my modem with it, its Conexant USB Data/Fax/Voice modem. I have installed win2k drivers few times, si i did with 9x/Me drivers and still dont work. If someone has found a solution for this please let me know on my email address. Its very important for me. Reply: (edit)My Diamond USB 56k Modem isn't being recognised by Windows XP when i use the usual drivers with it.
When i tried to use Windows 2k drivers with it the modem was recognised by the system crashed.
Does anyone have an idea where i can find updated WinXP drivers for the modem..
