windows XP desktop changes to none. Even though I set the desktop to what I want after reboot it changes to none & is blank.

Thanks anyway JohnW but I fixed the problem by activating Windows XP. All icons & task bar were there, just the desktop would revert to "None" all the time. This was just after a windows install.... Les
