I'm working on a computer that apparently has corrupt cdrom drivers. However, I can't seem to replace them. I copied new drivers (cdrom.sys, imapi.sys, etc) from another xp installation but that didn't work. Windows won't give me the option of replacing the drivers from the install CD either. Does anyone know how to do this?

Thanks,

Charles

Did you try Last Known Good config. startup? That should get you back to where the drivers were good.

I tried the last known good, but it said there was no LNG configuration.

I will look over that page, it looks like it may be the ticket. Thanks!
