Windows XP cannot boot without CD

Windows XP require Windows XP CD to boot...
When it display - "Press any key to boot from cd..." , I didn't...then it boot
When I eject the cd and reboot...it said no system disk
I have check my BIOs setting...change the boot sequence twice , CD-ROM|HARDDISK|FLOPPY and HARDDISK|CD-ROM|FLOOPY , but still the same problem.
I have boot by the CD and repartition the Harddisk 3 Times with erasure of the MBR...

you may have selected wrong option during setup. Format and reinstall your XP.

This is an odd one, especially if you had no problems during the install. I'm guessing it's a hardware issue. You might try moving your hard drive to a different IDE and try booting that.

Describe the disk you are loading XP from. Where did you get it? Who created it?

When you changed the settings in your bios did you save and exit? .......
had this problem once and it was the boot up settings in the bios...
Try setting your bios to default settings and then saving and exit...reboot and see if that works...

I can boot from the CD : Microsoft Windows XP Professional
When it say press any key to boot from cd, i did not...then it boot normally to windows xp
