Windows XP and Novell (Login Issue)

I am a tech coordinator at a K-12 school district. I am in the process of testing XP with our Novell Network for possible migration.
I installed Windows XP and Client 4.8?? and I can log in just fine. A window pops up just after I enter my login info for Novell that is titled "Windows 2000 Workstation". In it it has the default username I entered when installing XP and it is asking for a password. I click set password as (whatever it says) and I am good to go..
Here is the problem.
If I log in as different user in Novell on the same computer, it will again popup with that same box "Windows 2000 Workstation" asking for a password. If I click the "set the password as...." it fails login.

You would want to use the Professional edition of Windows XP. XP Professional contains the Novell client software for it. If you try to use the Novell one that is not written specifically for XP then you may encouter problems with printing & email solutions. For each computer you would want to setup usernames & passwords that are identical to the novell user's login/password. This will allow you to login to any computer that is attached to the network. A new user won't be able to access the pc without having a name & privilages setup on each pc. Hope this helps.

You might want to download the latest version of client 4.82 for XP from Novell site.
