A faster processor and a little more memory might help.
Judging by the spec. that you are showing. You probably have your HD partitioned. What size of partitions do you have?.

You are showing 2 OS., so you obviously have either a partitioned drive, or 2 drives.

I don't think that having 12 partitions is doing you any favours, but again I suggest that the main issue is with your CPU and RAM.

I ran xp fine for over a year with one stick of 128 megs ram.

However, the ram issue could be that you possibly have one 64 stick and one 128 or 3 64 sticks.

How are they installed. The largest should be first. Then the smaller one.

And are they all the same type of Ram?

If you have the 128 in first dim then try taking the other stick out. See what happens if it still freezes.

Also if you have three dims put the largest one in the first dim, then skip one install the next one and try that.

You will have to test by trial and error.

If no changes are seen and all your ram is compatible then you need to look at your display drivers or video card.

And it could be a few other things like needing updated bios or your bios settings.

Good Luck
