I have just got a copy of Windows XP 64Bit and am eger to install it on my new computer, i already have normal windows xp pro on here, do i need to re format the computer or can i upgrade? id hate to have to format.

You should install it on a different partition if you have one. After installation, the start screen will give an an option of which system to boot from.

Just curious...where did you get the OS. Did you buy it or Download it from Microsoft. If you downloaded it from them..did you have to compile it or am I just not making sense anymore?
