Don't know about this one. I can't get ANY 16-bit app to run on my XP Home. I've Googled around & read about folks having troubles related to config.nt, but I don't have those errors. Start any 16-bit app (e.g. sysedit), it simply doesn't load. Looks like it starts, then immediately terminates. Any ideas?

Event viewer??

After SP2 you needed both config and autoexec for some programs.

"Best Practices", Event viewer, host file, perfmon, antivirus, anti-spyware, Live CD's, backups, are in my top 10
