Just do a clean install to ensure no malware is carried over. That's what I do whenever I get them things.

Have you tried just backing up his my documents and just recreating his account?
Its also worth restarting in safemode and doing a nod32 scan again then if ^ didn't fix the problem.

Hey when you do your reinstall make sure the format dosen't carry any software over to the new install. Happened to me once so be careful!

I think that might merit an explanation - - how does 'format' "carry software"?

Censorship is the tool of those who have the need to hide actualities from themselves and others. Their fear is only their inability to face what is real.

Now thats a new consept, the format that doesn't actually format.

Perhaps you could do sfc /scanboot which will scan and replace any system files that it thinks are corupt; you'll need a xp disk for this.

BEN.
