Specs: Windows XP
Out of no where my computer will no longer boot up. Alls I did was restart it and this is what happens:

It goes to a screen where I choose either Start Windows Normally, Start windows with setting that last worked, Safe mode, Safe mode with comand prompt, and safe mode with network.

If I choose to just start windows normally the screen just goes blank and is black.

If i choose to start in any of the safe modes it goes to a blue screen and says

I01-Intializaiton_Failed

and Stop:0x00000069

I have no idea what to do and i Have alot of files on my computer. PLeasseeeee helppppp

Firstly think back.
Did you Install any new hardware or software before this happened ?
If so, disconnect it, In fact, disconnect everything other than Tower, monitor, keyboard & mouse.

If windows still wont boot, Then try to buy or find a windows XP floppy or disk. Then you can boot your OS from that CD.

Something like this happened to me, the only thing i could get up was the command prompt haha, And luckily i know commands and spent hours and hours typing in commands to copy certain files over like pictures and stuff lol.

Anyway, i hope that helps. Looks like you will need to get hold of one of those disks.
Or if possible, put your hard drive in a friends laptop or PC & try that.

Matt
