Reply: (edit)Havent got details with me at the moment. in basic terms machine gets bsod - complaining of c0000021 fatal error. This only occured after installing the updates and machine is fine running with straight SP2 with no updates. I have tried just installing a few updates -namely Microsoft .Net framework 1.1 and 1 of the cume sec updates. machine is still working fine with those 2 .so i get the feeling it is one of the updates causing an issue

Reply: (edit)Hi , Just had a scout around and looks like its to do with the logon service/process. This message can occur because of updates not installing correctly or successfully. I was running Norton Anti 2005 and adware at the time ,could these cause a possible problem with successfull installation of windows updates??. I realise you want the detail ,but just punch in c0000021 fatal error in google and youll see what i mean ,there is page on Microsoft . STOP: c000021a {Fatal System Error} The Windows Logon Process system process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0xc0000034 (0x00000000 0x0000000) The system has been shutdown.
