Comment: I am beginning to wonder if my Windows update is somehow broken. There haven't been any critical updates for about 3 weeks. Isn't that little bit strange? Some time ago I remember finding new critical updates every week. I have SP1 succesfully installed. I would like to know if there really havent been any critical updates for some time now. Jack

Reply: (edit)Thats right! As I understand it, Microsoft decided that releasing updates every few days was getting to be a headache for all the IT guys out there, so they've gone to a once-a-month plan. Windows XP is also getting to be very mature and polished, so I'm inclined to think that they don't really need as many updates as often any more.
