Hey is it just my computer or has there not been any updates for about a month and a half now? Or is my computer just broken??

if you know for sure you don't already have all the available updates, try this:

1. delete the contents (just the contents, not the folder)of C:\WINDOWS\system32\CatRoot2\

2. in IE, go to Tools-Internet Options-Languages, make sure a language is selected
