I haven't used Windows update on this machine for a while - I let it autoupdate, but as there was this big raft of stuff on Tuesday I thought I'd give it a go. Go to Start/Windows update, IE opens & I get a message saying "Thank you for your interest in obtaining updates from our site. To use this site, you must be running Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or later." Now I'm already using IE6 - I can open the 'about' window in front of the message - though I use FF for everything else. I've got a legitimate copy of Windows, it's auto-updated fine in the past. Anyone got any idea what's going on?
