All of a sudden Windows XP isn't able to download and install my newest updates. (Well actually, it apparently downloads but is not able to install them. It started with one update not installing but now I've got about 30 stacked up. Any ideas?

Thanks guys,
I'm using Sygate Personal, which I've always used without a problem. I exited it, but still can't download.
Per, thanks for the link but I'm not sure of a few things.
Where do I save this batch file? After clicking on the batch file it will register the dlls, then run the update file again, correct?
Thanks, and I really appreciate your help.

Save it anywhere you want to. You click on the batch file and it registers the dll's. then you go for the updates.

Thanks again, my friend.

Per, all of my downloads have been installed and I'm ready to reboot on this computer.
On my other computer I had one update (Netframwork 1, I belive). It looked like it was going to work, the graph showed it installing, but didn't. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Thanks per, then is there anything I can do to get it from constantly popping up and asking me to download the new update for it?

There is a box to check on the popup that says "don't show this again" It puts it in the hidden updates in the MS update site.

Per, I don't see the popup you're referring to. Could you tell me specifically where this is located?
Thanks.

Per, I still haven't figured out how to turn off the update; however, I did discover that in my control panel/Add Remove Programs, it indicates that NetFramework and some other updates (Hot Fix) of it, are apparently already on my computer. This may explain why it won't download.
Any further ideas?

In the update center when it shows uncheck it and check the box that says don't show this again.
