HI:I have a Dell Dimension 2400 P4 intel 2.4GHZ 512MB DDR Preloaded winXP HE SP1 the problem is:Windows update not working Cos everytime I Ran MS Windows update I got the Following Error: Windows update has encountered an Error and cannot display the requested page: [ Error# 0x800A01AD] PS:I have tried all the Solution from MS with no joy now I was thinking If taking out Window XP Home edition & installing win XP pro will fix the Problem TIA..

Could be your firewall, I use Sygate and had to re-adjust it to get my windows up-dates
If you need a simple solution, try mine. I try to give advise on things that have happened to my PC. Changes in registry can be FATAL! Glad to have a chance to help you.

HI:I have checked all the solutions from microsoft without any luck BTW:There is no Virus or Trojan or Spyware into my System But directx 9.0b it adviced me to update to directx 9.0c or I will have a problem with some files Cheers...
