Hello, I have a problem with Windows Update. Every time I try to update windows, Internet Explorer just freezes. When it scans for an update, it just freezes. Any possible solutions?

I have seen when a computer is infected by a virus / trojan / worm in some cases this infection keeps you from getting to some AV sites and not allow Windows updates that patches it's breech.

Make sure first your AV is up-to-date.

Speaking of date; make sure your system date is correct (month day AND year). Windows update will not function if your year is way off.
