Specs: Windows XP, Intel Pentium 3/1GB

My Issue No, 1: Microsoft Hotfix files going to wrong drive

After reading your website I found out that the Hotfix files are supposed to be legitimate but my question is why do the file/folder keep showing up on my storage drive (G) instead of my main harddrive (C)???

My Issue No. 2: Microsoft Updates Again and Again and Again!

I know that you are supposed to utilize Microsoft Update when the software tells you to and I am very good doing it even when I am sometimes in the middle of doing other things because I know how import it is. Unfortunately, there seems to be a problem with my Microsoft Update software

Microsoft update keeps popping up telling me I need to update and I do. Then a few minutes after I have updated it pops up again with the same identical stuff telling me I need to update as if I hadn't done it already. Why is this happening?

Help! :(

The hot-fixes when downloaded will be stored on any disk that has space. This is normally drive C: but if space is short on drive C:, they will be put wherever there is space. There is no problem as to where the hot-fix is stored.

When the hot-fix is downloaded it will be applied to the operating system, which again is normally be drive C: There is no choice here and if drive C: is short on space the installation will fail, hence the repeated attempts to install.

Check your free space on drive C: You need around 3Gbs to be comfortable.

Hi StuartS:

Thank you for replying to my message. :)

To answer your question, I currently have 40GB on my C Drive so I don't understand why the Hotfix files are not going to the correct drive espedially since the downloaded files are only 10MB in size.

Thanks again,
