windows top bar missing

Specs: xp, intell4 / 1024 mb
the default top bars of windows has disapeared. i had an virus on my computer then when i got it deleted the top bar went missing like where the close, minimize, and maximize buttons are. and help is welcomed.

Have you tried running System Restore to a time before the virus infection?

Try pressing F11,,,
that should make your file..edit..view..favorites..tools..help bar appear and disappear

If your not learning,, your just sitting there

tried all, but my system restore was disabled. so as of now nothing works.

colaicee, Right click an empty area of your Toolbar and unlock the Toolbars then move your pointer over the bottom edge of your Toolbar till it changes into a 2 sided arrow then hold your left mouse button down and drag downwards. If & when the Title bar appears release the left mouse button and then Lock the Toolbars again.

its not the tool bar its the title bar

colaicee, Go into Display Properties>Appearance tab, click the Advanced button, choose Active Title Bar in Items:, use the drop down arrow button and choose Size: 25, click OK/APPLY/OK.

thanks so much it works, but one thing i know it doesnt really matter but how do you get it so i can have the windows and buttons: set to Windows XP style. because when i try that it makes turns it back to how it was when it was broken.

colaicee, You may want to go to the link below and under the letter "T" scroll down to "Themes (Won't Load or only Windows Classic is listed)" where you may find some possible fixes for the Luna Theme which is the default Windows XP theme.
