Hi guys
I have the problem (C:\Windows\System32\shdoclc.dll\dnserror.htm) and I have tried every possible solution short of reinstalling my whole OS and none of them have worked. I have tried reinstalling TCPIP, WINSOCK, used SPybot, Hijack This, AVG etc to remove viruses and spyware (successfully, I am spyware free now). I have also used the Winsock repair tool, changed and deleted registry settings and hosts settings (including the windsock2.dll delete solution). The only difference I see with my problem is that I actually get a web page for 2-3 mins before it suddenly gives me the error (C:\Windows\System32\shdoclc.dll\dnserror.htm). Also Everything was fine until I downloaded SP2 and the IE6 SP.
If anyone has any other suggestions can they please contact me.
