Only had internet up for about a wk., & installed the AVG Free 8.0 version before I started getting onto the internet with it, I did scans with that & Spybot Search & Destroy, deleted whatever came up & now when I run the scans it comes up clean. "System Shut Down" error is coming up almost every time I turn the computer on & even in safe mode, I actually have better luck in regular mode with this right now. It says: "NTAUTHORITY\System error & C:\Windows\system\32\services.exe error, & you have like 24282 days, but shuts down & restarts, but you can't get onto the internet for very long. Also 2 other error reports, "TUProg.St.exe" & "Services & Controller app" "send error report or don't send. Any help? Can this be fixed?

Black3gGT, SWAG, take a look at your AVG settings. Sounds to me like it's doing it's job too well. Perhaps you need to lower the threshold? I don't use AVG so dunno. I do know that in IE, any security setting higher than 'med' blocks everything. HTH. Ed in Texas.
