Hey, I just moved my computer across my room and when I turn on my computer its gets to the windows XP loading screen. Once that screen goes away, the monitor loses the towers signal, or just the screen turns black and the light on the monitor flashes. The tower looks like it is on and running and it looks hooked up fine. If I turn off the monitor screen and turn it back on the monitor says "no signal, check the tower or make sure its connected right" or something like that. Then when I try to load it safe mode, it loads fine. I can get into safe mode and move around windows no problem.

Being able to go into safe mode leads me to believe all my hardware is fine but I dont know where else to go with this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

good evening Thomas,
More than likely your hardware is not fine. I would venture to say that during the move you knocked something lose inside. Open it up and start with the graphics card and just remove it and then reinsert it in the same slot; then go about either rebooting to see if that fixed it or checking your other hardware (boards) to see if they are lose. memory, sound, anyother add ins and then check for lose cables.... by doing the same thing, ie... remove/replace! It should fix your problem.

good luck,

rc
