I keep getting this message at startup :

windows has recovered from a seriuous error.

BCCode : 100000ea BCP1 : 8167DA80 BCP2 : 8149D8D8 BCP3 : 81737D08
BCP4 : 00000001 OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 0_0 Product : 256_1

I don't know what's going on, or how to fix it. Any advice would be very helpful. Everything works just fine, but i would rather not get that error at startup.

Celeron 700, overclocked
256 Ram
40 Gig HDD partitioned (30 + 10)

I just posted this:

I tryed installing "cd space". Got a warning by winxp it seems basicly telling I shouldn't install. I did anyway being the dick that I can be at times. Right after that I rebooted kept rebooting (a couple of times) did disk checks and finally gave me a couple of windows say that it had fixed "a serious error", consisting of:

BCCode : c5 BCP1 : E1245000 BCP2 : 00000002 BCP3 : 00000001
BCP4 : 80536D4E OSVer : 5_1_2600 SP : 0_0 Product : 256_1

and then

C:\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini102301-02.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\###\LOCALS~1\Temp\WERE.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml

Anyone know what's up?

Hmmm. I (also being a dick) seemed to do exactly what you did. I tried the "driver roll back" feature on my display driver ( i had downloaded the new nvidia driver), and on reboot i didn't get the error message.

That doesn't mean i fixed the problem, but at least i had one clean boot. Anyway, i guess XP doesn't take any crap, if it tells you not to do something it may be wise to kinda listen. :)

I get the same BCCode error on every startup with the exact same dump file and .xml file.

It doesn't seem to hurt the performance of the machine but I want that darn error dialog box to go away!

I've done everything support could offer but nothing works, yet!

Someone tell me if they figured this one out yet!

Thanks, Bryan

When I startup connected to internet (via broadband), I do not get error. However, when I start up not connected, I get error. Possibly a network relating error. Can anyone reproduce network interaction?

I have the error code BCCode : 100000ea, every time I reboot the computer. Even when I do it normally (no crash). I don't know how to fix it. I had several error messages like this before, but it was because my NVidia driver. Now, I don't know if it's still responsible for this problem!

Any news, please e-mail me!
