Comment:

I've not recently changed, added to or reconfigured my PC, but I now keep getting multiple Explorer Notices that overlay each other, all saying the same thing: " Explorer X Windows Socket Error: Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted (10048), on API “Bind”."

I now have 15 of thes message on my screen and it seems like every minute another one comes up. I'ver tried Re-Booting but that doesn't help.

Any idea on what may have happened and how I can correct this Problem??

thanks, MC

Click Start/Run and type: msconfig and click ok. Click on startup tab and look at what you have in there. Is there anything strange in there? I'm thinking you have a virus or a trojan.
