windows security alerts....

when i turn off my firewall, auto update, or have no anti virus....there is this security icon that always appears in my icon tray....how do i get rid of it??..it annoys me alot....and when i turn my auto update on how do i get rid of that yellow icon that shows u your updates by not turning it off....

Open XP Security Centre. Click on botton option on left "Change the way Security Centre alerts me". Uncheck all three boxes and you will not see those baloon popups.
Summary: so i don't have a firewall on, or automatic updates...or a virus scanning program. say all you want, i just don't like stuff running in the background. i can handle myself, i've been doin it for years...
