If you start in safemode and goto Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>Activate product and re-enter your activation code everything should be alright after the reboot.
Note: u must have admin rihts on the m/c.

Hope this helps.

Not to throw a terd into the crap pit, BUT WITH WINBLOWS XP, when making any HARDWARE Changes into your system you have to have a code key. HINT: GUESS WHO YOU HAVE TO CALL FOR IT... Plus, it will COST you everytime.
oh yes by the way if think that reformatting your Hardrive and reinstalling XP to get around it. You only have 1 time after that the XP version will work no more....

GO figure another way of WINBLOWS and Bill RAPE(gates) gets your cash. I guess he does not like the fact he is not the #1 richest man in the world anymore... Mr Walton (wal-mart ceo is #1).

Do youselves a favor stick to what you have, HELL they are still making software that supports WINDOWS 95.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO UPGRADE....it's your choice and when people figure that out, then maybe we have a chance to think for ourselves....
