Comment: I bought a computer (used,AS-IS). There was no memory on it and i had someone put their copy of XP in it. It works fine, but it keeps saying i have 28 days to activate windows. I've tried to activate but it keeps saying the product code is wrong. My question is will Windows stop working when these 30 days are over? Thanks in advance for your reply.Keep in mind I know absolutely nothing about computers!

Reply: (edit)Hiya, Unfortunetly.. yes, windows will not let you log onto your account when the 30 days is up. You need to enter a valid Product key which is on the back of all towers. But by the sounds of it, your using a USED copy of windows so it may cause some problems. Not to sure.
