CPU/Ram: 1024 DDR Ram & 2.4c Ghz 8

got a music cd 2day and when i try to play it in windows i get the message "Windows cannot read from this disk. the disk might be corrupted or it could be using a format that is not compatable with windows" . It works fine in my sound system.

anyone any ideas how i can get this to play cause i want to rip the audio tracks to mp3 so they are on my system

Try getting a CD lens cleaner kit. I had something similar happen. See if it helps.

tried it and still no joy. Are there like any file extentions i can download or anything like that that might work so it will read the cd??
