I have started to get a "Windows - No Disk: There is no disk in the drive" error every time I start iTunes with my iPod connected. It comes up about 60 times, and I have to keep hitting return, till finally iTunes launches normally. I have noticed this only happens when my iPod is connected. I've tried totally uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes to no avail.
Anybody know how to fix this problem? Thanks.

Actually, I just noticed this is happening any time I start up iTunes, period. Whether my iPod is connected or not... Originally I thought it had to do with the iPod being connected, but it seems it just has to do with iTunes itself

You may be able to get more info from the Event viewer.
HOW TO: View and Manage Event Logs in Event Viewer in Windows XP
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;308427
Or,
Start > Run, copy & paste > eventvwr.msc /s & press Enter.
Scroll down to the last time your computer crashed and it should tell you what device/driver caused the problem?

Thanks I tried what you said. But I'm not sure what to do with the info. It says Application: pop up. category: none. Event ID: 26. File name: ntdll.dll
It gives me this advice:
Explanation
The program could not load a driver because the program user doesn't have sufficient privileges to access the driver or because the drive is missing or corrupt.
User Action
To correct this problem:Ensure that the program user has sufficient privileges to access the directory in which the driver is installed. Reinstall the program to restore the driver to the correct location.
But I've already tried reinstalling iTunes a few times now, and it hasn't fixed the problem....

Do you have SP2 installed?
Download sp2 from one of these. Once installed get all the critical updates, choose Custom install.
