Specs: Windows XP
How to I capture audio from the sound card and NOT the dv camera? I tried all video capture software and this is really stressful because a simple video capture software should at LEAST let you change where the audio for the video is coming from.

PS: the subject is supposed to be

'windows movie maker capture audio from sound card NOT dv camera'

NOT

Windows server 2003 enterprise. I told this site to change it, it still game me the Windows server 2003 enterprise.

To get the audio from the sound card it first has to be sent from the camera to the sound card.

The audio is not part of the video, if that's what you are thinking.

my camera doesn't have an audio in. i was trying to make it easier by capturing directly from the sound card's audio. i wish video capture softwares can do this just like skype can.
