Hi,
I wish to disable the Autocomplete feature in Windows Messenger 4.7. I have already been to the Internet Options properties and cleared the check boxes for Web Addresses, Usernames and Passwords and Forms and made use of Clear Forms and Clear Passwords buttons.
Although this has helped a lot, yet when I am about to sign in to the Windows Messenger, the entries are very much there. I have tried the trusted method of highlighting the email ids and pressing DEL..no go.

Click on Start, then Run, type in:
CONTROL USERPASSWORDS2
and hit Enter.
In the resulting window, click the Advanced tab, then on the Manage Passwords button. From here you can manage/delete all .Net passports.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply mate!
I tried that before..its meant to disable the automatic sign in for the Messenger. What I inquired for was..lets say I type in the letter 'm' which is the first letter of my email id...it opens a list box giving all entries beginning with 'm.' By clearing forms etc in the Autocomplete options for IE, web addresses and most of the other forms are taken care of...but Autocomplete is NOT disabled for Windows Messenger for Win XP. How can I disable that?
