What is the command to remove Windows Messenger? I am sure this as not Messenger Service and not MSN Messenger. One of these sends messages that pop up when I am on the internet.

1) Right-click My Computer/Manage 2) Click + sign next to Services & Apps in left pane, then click Services 3) Scroll down to Messenger in right pane and double-click it 4) Stop service and change startup type to 'Manual'.

Yes, this is the Windows Messenger Service which spammers use to popup message adverts on ur PC.
MSN Messenger is the chat prog which Microsoft confusingly now calls Windows Messenger.
