OK I've got another problem !
I've just un-installed Windows Messenger, using Add Remove Programs - Winds Components. The problem is its still lurking about. Ok its gone from my system tray and from all programs, but it can still be opened from a button in my Internet Explorer. It's also still left a folder in My Computer - Program Files.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

You can try Safe XP from
http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4070.html
It's free and can remove or disable almost everything in XP.

Hi.

Go to Start>Run and paste this command:

RunDll32 advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection %windir%\INF\msmsgs.inf,BLC.Remove

Be sure to shut down Windows Messenger first.

Hope this helps.
